The BDM spearheads prospecting and business development activities, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, prospects, vendors, and internal teams. This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to position oneself as a trusted advisor, bringing commercial insights to our clients.

Your role involves creating and sharing weekly industry-focused social media posts on both personal and corporate channels. By leveraging your outstanding social selling skills, particularly on platforms like LinkedIn, you will contribute to building thought leadership, fostering engagement, and expanding our network at company sponsored trade shows and events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough account and industry research to fuel effective prospecting and business development.
  • Develop, maintain, and accurately report on the sales pipeline from proposal to onboarding.
  • Qualify opportunities with precision, identifying and pursuing new avenues within existing customer relationships.
  • Act as the key contact for all matters related to assigned accounts, ensuring client challenges are addressed throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and deliver compelling client-facing presentations and proposals, adhering to Ditto's brand and margin standards.
  • Proactively identify and create opportunities to provide products and services to existing customers.
  • Establish and nurture strong customer relationships while maintaining key account metrics.
  • Create and share weekly, industry-related Social Media Posts on personal and corporate channels.
  • Develop Bi-Monthly Eblasts promoting Ditto’s services to your pipeline and Ditto’s customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with Client Delivery to create and manage print and digital project timelines.
  • Represent Ditto at industry tradeshows and events, showcasing our brand and fostering networking opportunities.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven ability to close deals and confidently ask for business.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a keen ability to assess and qualify opportunities.
  • Excellent knowledge of Ditto's services and outstanding social selling skills, particularly on LinkedIn.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Microsoft Customer Manager, HubSpot) and the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with internet research tools and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google).
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, hands-on, and rapidly changing environment.
