The Digital Specialist will be responsible for production activities and file management for Ditto’s Digital Production team.

This position’s primary task is to ensure client requests are produced in a timely manner, while meeting Ditto’s quality standards. The candidate will work in a supportive role for Ditto’s Client Delivery, Digital Production, and Production teams.

Qualified candidates will need to have an overall understanding of Ditto’s product offerings and toolset which include digital/offset printing, file management, fulfillment, basic HTML, email blast (campaigns), Print On Demand systems (XMPie) and other associated services, as well as adhere to processes and procedures to improve the quality and timeliness of deliverables, while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering work in a timely and accurate manner to Ditto’s clients via traditional prepress methods and Print on Demand systems
  • Preparation of electronic files for digital print, email blast, print on demand and web related services
  • Ensure all graphic elements are consistent across all production files
  • Follow expected quality control measures into production workflow for all services
  • Test/QC deliverables against specs to uncover and troubleshoot issues
  • Interact with Client Delivery and Development for onboarding new clients and implementations
  • Ensure that all established file management procedures are followed through archive system
  • Ensure that all creative marketing/promotional/packaging art materials are developed and delivered in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitor Ditto’s Solution inbox and gather detailed project requirements
  • Act as the client point of contact for projects as needed
  • Follow up on customer interactions and resolve customer related issues

Qualifications/Skills

  • Proficient in the following software packages: Adobe CS, XES Web Services, XMPIE, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access), Bulk Mailer or mail software equivalent and familiarity with high volume production file processing
  • Must have well rounded knowledge of Direct Mail regulation and USPS standards
  • Strong file assembly skills
  • Ability to recognize press characteristics as they relate to file preparation for printing
  • Ability to produce error-free work
  • Must be flexible and team oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks and tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate an ability to organize workload and workflow
  • Works effectively across the organization and fosters teamwork
  • Detail orientated, able to accurately produce and proofread work
